feature film while still requiring all the same creative filmmaking
elements such as script writing, directing, cinematography, editing etc.

Pros - Not too complicated, not many actors needed, quick
Cons - could
be too simple, not easy to show off editing skills, can be bland
Tips for making a
short film:
- Focus on a single storyline (not much time for subplots and excess characters).
- Limit locations (easy and accessible locations for shooting).
- Minimize characters (Keep your characters to 3-5 core people).
- No overly complex CGI shots or shots requiring hours in after effects
- Be concise with dialogue.
